Ricoh will present an immersive experience with it’s “Day in the Life of Data.” The showcase helps demonstrate new ways to securely capture data, transform and manage information via presentations. There will be hands-on demonstrations and discussions with Ricoh experts. The HIMSS 2017 event will explore how information is gathered, shared, and how administrative tasks are completed. Avoiding bottlenecks and ensuring accuracy is a topmost goal to reduce patient wait times and ensure information is available when and where it is needed. Addressing gaps in the system will decrease denials, eliminate duplicates, and enhance care delivery and accuracy. All that will contribute to increasing revenues and drive down costs. Visitors will be greeted by the Ricoh Virtual Self-Service Hologram, appropriately dressed in scrubs.
“We believe information should be at the heart of every healthcare organization and the most effective way to achieve that is through proven data-driven workflows and patient-driven care,” said Ron Nielson, vice president of healthcare at Ricoh USA. “By focusing on a ‘day in the life of data,’ we are showcasing the impact automated, intelligent workflows can have on a healthcare organization as they help remove costly manual errors, reduce time spent on administrative activities and boost the overall patient experience. Having information available where and when it’s needed will ultimately help improve care coordination and achieve better outcomes—and this is how we’re helping healthcare organizations at HIMSS and beyond.”
