5. This smart watch is specifically designed with braille notifications for blind people
The Dot Watch is the world’s first braille smart watch that uses a refreshable braille display.
The display consists of 24 touch sensors and uses electro-dynamic cells to display notifications. The watch is connected through Bluetooth, so when a user receives an alert on their phone, it can be transmitted to the device. When the user reaches the end of the display, the sensors tell the system to display the next set of letters.
It also has an alarm and an accelerometer and can display social media and text message notifications. The Dot Watch can even give directions.
The watch is open source, which means developers can create apps for it.
