Alpha Source acquires BC Technical


alphasource-bctechnical acquisitionAlpha Source announced that it has acquired BC Technical. The financial details of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

The acquisition helps Alpha Source (Milwaukee, Wis.) double the size of its full service, imaging services and equipment repair solutions in the U.S. The company also says that the deal will expand its ultrasound and bone densitometry equipment services to include maintenance, repair and refurbished equipment for CT, MRI and molecular imaging modalities.

“With today’s announcement, Alpha Source and its companies expand and broaden their role as a scaled supplier to imaging services. We are excited to collaborate with BC Technical to offer a wider array of solutions and further help healthcare providers find cost-effective solutions to extend the life of their diagnostic imaging equipment,” Rick Lytle, CEO of Alpha Source, said.

The total number of Alpha Source employees is over 350 employee with the acquisition of BC Technical.
