TempTraq’s new wearable patch can monitor body temps for 2 days
TempTraq’s new easy-to-use temperature monitor can track temperature for up to 48 hours, twice as much as its existing monitor. The Bluetooth, wearable temperature monitor is a thin, flexible patch that attaches to the underarm of the user and connects to a free smartphone app.
The temperature monitor continuously monitors, records and sends body temperature readings to the smartphone app, reducing the need to disturb sleeping patients for temperature readings. It can also send notifications to the app when the user has reached a certain temperature.
The single-use, hygienic design offers simple temperature readings with easily decipherable colors: green, a temperature of less than 100.4 degrees; orange, a temperature equal or greater than 100.4 degrees; and red, a temperature equal or above the set temperature level.
The 48-hour patch will be available for purchase in Q1 2017 for $24.99.
