Omron teases wearable device for blood pressure monitoring
Omron Healthcare released a new blood pressure monitor prototype at CES 2017. The Project Zero 2.0 is an ultra-compact, wearable, smartwatch-like device that measures blood pressure and tracks heart health data.
The device also connects to Omron’s smartphone app through Bluetooth, allowing users to track and share their data. The company claims the device and app can provide insight into the user’s systolic, diastolic and pulse readings as well as body mass index, body fat percentage and weight.
Project Zero 2.0 also boasts a one-week battery life, according to Omron.
