Corpus Medical has recapitalized with Ampersand Capital Partners to further expand the company’s manufacturing capabilities and geographic footprint.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2009, Corpus Medical provides value-added contract development and manufacturing services by assisting customers in getting their products to market efficiently. Its focus is in contract development and manufacturing interventional medical devices, catheter-based delivery systems, and implants. The Silicon Valley, California–based company has also invested in clean room manufacturing capacity in the past.
