MTD Micro Molding (Charlton, Mass.) has announced that it has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the second time. The company has had a growth of 48% over the last three years and has been ranked at 4735 because of it.

“I am so proud of my team,” Dennis Tully, president of MTD Micro Molding said. “Making the Inc. 5000 list for the second time validates our efforts to remain at the forefront of micro manufacturing. Hard work, attention to detail and continuously pushing the edge of science have allowed us to grow. Congratulations are in order for the MTD team.”

MTD Micro Molding manufactures ultra-precision molded components for the medical device industry. The company suggests that some of its long-term projects have benefited its growth, as well as its niche micro medical market focus and its expertise in bioabsorbable and drug delivery micro injection molding.

“The growth is attributable to many of our development projects that were in the pipeline, advancing to production,” Tully said.

The company also received ISO 13485 certification in 2016 and has expanded its sales throughout the U.S.

(Here’s a fun fact: Medical Design & Outsourcing’s parent company WTWH Media (Cleveland) is also on the Inc. 5000 list.)
