Robert Beckman has been appointed chairman of the board of Qosina (Ronkokoma, N.Y.), the company announced today.
Beckman, a current board member, will succeed Stuart Herskovitz, Qosina’s founder and former board chairman. Herskovitz will remain on the board and intends to be fully involved in the company, but will now shift his focus to business development and attending industry trade shows.
“Bob brings a wealth of experience that is critical to guiding us in strategically operating our company and successfully growing our margins,” said Qosina president & CEO Scott Herskovitz in a prepared statement. “Bob’s proven leadership, talent, expertise and support are valuable assets, and we look forward to working with him to create the next chapter of Qosina’s story of success.”
Beckman has served in corporate and industry leadership roles for several decades and has supported the growth and development of a wide range of global healthcare companies. He formed The Channel Group, a healthcare advisory business, and was a founder of BIO and NYBIO, where he served as chairman and in board leadership positions.
Founded in 1980, Qosina is a leading global supplier of OEM single-use components to the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
