Roland DGA, a leading provider of wide-format printers, rapid prototyping 3D milling machines and other innovative digital devices, will be showcasing its latest technologies at the ACTE CareerTech Expo, December 1-2, 2016 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Visitors to booth 1020 can get a firsthand look at some of Roland’s latest product introductions in action, including the new, state-of-the-art MODELA MDX-50 benchtop mill and the next-generation TrueVIS SG-300 eco-solvent printer/cutter. Other Roland machines ideal for use in educational settings, such as the VersaUVLEF-20 UV flatbed printer and CAMM-1 GS-24 vinyl cutter, will also be on display. ACTE CareerTech Expo attendees can also get a sneak-peek at Roland DGA’s new project-based learning (PBL) tutorials – ready-to-teach projects for use with Roland products – prior to the official launch in 2017.
Many of the Roland products that will be featured at CareerTech Expo can also be found in schools and Fab Labs around the world. The company is helping to advance STEM education by supplying the hardware, software, and coming soon, step-by-step tutorials, that make it easy for educators to teach students through hands-on digital fabrication.
