The shapes of human joints make the delivery of the electric field to the treatment site challenging. NovoPulse overcame this challenge by producing a 3D electric field with optimal magnitude, distribution and orientation in two orthogonal directions to provide complete coverage of the intervertebral discs and the facet joints in the spine to create the right conditions in the joints for maximum response to the therapy, according to the company.
