The reSET is a 90-day prescription for substance use disorder that provides cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to a contingency management system for patients who are 18 years of age and older and are currently enrolled in outpatient treatment with a clinician. The smartphone application displays information about a patient’s use of the system, including lessons completed, patient-reported substance use, patient-reported cravings and triggers, compliance rewards and in-clinic data inputs like urine drug screen results, according to Pear Therapeutics.
Pear Therapeutics’s reSET-O is an 84-day prescription digital therapeutic for opioid use disorder. It is designed to increase the retention of patients in outpatient treatment by offering cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to outpatient treatment that includes transmucosal buprenorphine and contingency management. It is designated for patients who are 18 years or older and are under the supervision of a clinician. The dashboard of the smartphone app, which is accessible by clinicians, includes information about lessons completed, patient-reported substance use, patient-reported cravings and triggers, patient-reported medication use, compliance rewards and in-clinic data inputs like urine drug screen results.
