Why do you think readers were interested in learning more about the product?
We founded the company to design high quality, cost effective surgical lights in the U.S. Forty years later, our reputation carries on as the surgical lighting experts; bringing innovative features to each new model while carrying on the attributes to which surgeons have grown accustomed.

How does this product benefit the surgical team and aid in better outcomes?
The Nuvo Vu benefits patient outcomes by utilizing the “Green Mode” for MIS cases. The human eye can see more shades of green than any other color. This is the reason night vision goggles are green. When the overhead lights are turned off, the “Green Mode” will illuminate the OR with a green hue and allow everyone to see better in a darkened environment. It will also enhance the images on the flat panel monitors.
What technical innovations does the product encapsulate and apply to the OR?
Cross Focus Technology (CFT) is the proprietary engineering of the optics which allows for unsurpassed shadow control. Whether the light is adjusted to a large pattern size for open procedures or a small pattern size, the benefits of CFT are the same.
