310 watt desktop power supply meets efficiency level VI for ITE and medical applications

pead310-webPower Sources Unlimited, Inc. announces the new PEAD310 and PEAMD310 (medical) Series of desktop AC-DC switching power supplies which provide 250-310 watts of continuous output power. All models meet CEC/DOE Level VI efficiency and Class I or Class II versions are available. Class II models are BF Rated.

The PEAD310 Series meets the latest safety standards including FCC Class B / CISPR22 / EN55022  radiated and conducted EMC, EN55024: 2010, UL60950-1, cUL60950-1, TUV EN60950-1/A12: 2011. The PEAMD310 Series meets latest safety standards including EN/ES60601-1 3rd edition with Means Of Patient Protection (1 and 2 x MOPP) and meets FCC Class B / CISPR11 / EN55011 radiated and conducted EMC. Both series are RoHS compliant

Enclosed in a sealed, fan-less case measuring 7.8” x 4” x 2” with IEC60320/C14 standard or C18 optional inlet for world-wide medical use. For ITE use IEC60320 / C14 Std. C8/C6/C18 optional. All models provide a universal input voltage of 90-264VAC and offer fully regulated, single output voltages of 12, 15, 19, 24, 36 and 48VDC. Comprehensive protection circuitry, including over-voltage, overload, and short-circuit protection are fundamental  to the design. Operating temperature is 0C to 40C at full load and storage temperature -20C to +85C. Altitude is <5000m operational/storage and units have an MTBF of >100,000 hours per MIL-HDBK-217F at full load and 25°C ambient. Each unit completes 100% Burn-In/Hi-Pot Testing.
