3DISC Imaging Acquires CoreWare, Leading Provider of Radiology Software

)–3DISC Imaging, a manufacturer of high-quality, affordable
medical imaging products, has acquired CoreWare, a longtime provider of digital
radiography software, in a move that solidifies 3DISCs position as an emerging
leader in medical imaging.

CoreWare, founded in 2002, offers a range of high-quality
image processing software solutions for computed radiography, digital
radiography, and PACS to customers throughout Korea,
as well as in other Asian countries and the United States. CoreWares
innovative software powers 3DISCs suite of highly flexible, affordable x-ray
imaging solutions for human and animal use.

According to Sigrid Smitt-Jeppesen, chief executive officer
of 3DISC Americas,

3DISCs family of CR readers is built on pioneering technology
that provides high-quality images for viewing, enhancement, duplication,
archiving, and distribution. Its next-generation FireCR+ Medical product line includes a range of compact,
portable CR readers ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, specialty practices,
and satellite facilities, while separate product lines serve the dental and veterinary markets.

3DISCs upgradeable CR readers allow customers to select a
system that meets current needs and budgets, and scale up as imaging volume
increases. This unique feature provides maximum flexibility and ensures that a
facilitys technology investment is protected. Upgrades can be quickly
completed in the field, ensuring no disruption in workflow. The compact FireCR+
Readers are designed to fit into any environment, with a wall-mount option for
facilities with limited space. The readers feature the companys QuantorMed Imaging Software, which optimizes image
