Carrie S. Cox
Chairman and CEO of Humacyte
Carrie Cox joined tissue engineering company Humacyte in 2010 and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Texas Instruments, Cardinal Health and Celgene.
Cox previously served as the chairman of Prism Pharmaceuticals. She was also the executive vice president and president of Global Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2009, where she was responsible for the company’s prescriptions pharmaceutical business. She was also the lead director of Texas Instruments.
She holds a bachelor degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Cox has been named one of Fortune Magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” 6 times and was one of Fierce Biotech’s 2012 “Top 10 Women in Biotech.”
