Abbott closes down a Puerto Rico manufacturing facility, marking the 3rd reported workforce cuts in the last week alone.
Abbott is reportedly shutting down a Puerto Rico manufacturing plant, with an unspecified number of employees slated for termination.
The plant in question resides in a city called Barceloneta, and the facility houses pharmaceutical, diagnostics, biotechnology and vascular intervention development, according to Abbott’s website.
