Amada Miyachi America officially changed its name to Amada Weld Tech at the beginning of this month.
The Monrovia, Calif.–based company said in a news release that the change “further enhances” its recognition and brand awareness while maintaining its association with its reputation as a provider of welding and advanced technology equipment and systems to specialized markets.
“We will continue as a market leader in developing, manufacturing, and servicing leading-edge products for resistance welding, laser welding, laser marking, laser cutting, laser micromachining and heat-seal-bonding, as well as customized integrated system solutions,” Amada Weld Tech America & Europe president & CEO Dave Fawcett said in the release. “We thank our customers for their business and continued support and are confident that they will find our products and services remain at the highest standard of quality.”
Newly branded Amada Weld Tech has been part of the Amada Group since March 2013. It intends to remain at the same location in Monrovia with no changes to its products or services.
