Applied PlasticsApplied Plastics (Norwood, Mass.) — maker of PTFE-coated products for advanced catheter systems — announced today that it is rebranding to improve its customer interface and support continued growth.

The rebranding includes a new website, online store and refreshed brand identity. The company this week is showing off the new look and its online PTFE Natural mandrel store at Booth #1909 at the massive MD&M West trade show in Anaheim, Calif.

“Over the last year, we have focused on enhancing the customer experience,” Applied Plastics CEO Thomas Barrett said in a news release. “It is exciting to now be able to ship PTFE Natural coated mandrels and wire within 24 hours to meet R&D engineers’ accelerated development timelines.”

It’s been more than a year since Vance Street Capital acquired Applied Plastics, and the rebranding is part of continued investments that Vance Street is making in the company.

“Through our partnership with Vance Street, we have already made investments in a number of areas, including adding personnel in customer service, quality and manufacturing in order to continue to invest in additional coating capacity,” Barrett said.
