If you’ve ever worried about bacteria on hotel beds, or just germs in general, this bacteria-killing robot called CleanseBot may be just what you need.
The CleanseBot can sanitize and disinfect surfaces, while the UV-C light helps prevent the spread of airborne viruses.
The bot was created for traveling, so it’s easy to carry along, and has three different modes for disinfecting and 18 sensors built-in. It uses four UV-C lamps to help blast away germs and bacteria.
The three modes include:
Under Blanket Mode: where the user pulls the top and bottom halves of the CleanseBot apart to reveal its wheels
Handheld mode: users put their hand under the CleanseBot strap and aim the UV-C lights at any surface or device
Power Bank Mode: where individuals can use the USB-C port to power any device
Individuals using CleanseBot can set the bot on the bed, or another germ-infested place, for 30 or 60 minutes and let it do its job. Additionally, despite blankets getting in its way, the CleanseBot’s 18 smart AI sensors keep the robot going so it doesn’t fall off the bed or get stuck in a blanket. The creators have tested the bot on over 40 different types of materials and fabrics of sheets and blankets. They have also tested the robot in beds of different sizes and shapes.
