BIOR), producer of the FDA cleared Streamway™ System for
automated surgical fluid disposal, announced today that it has
completed the installation of its patented Streamway™ System
in a large Minnesota Hospital. The hospital has now completed
several procedures utilizing the Streamway System and the clinical
benefits, user friendliness and efficiency aspects of the System
have already been acknowledged.
The Streamway™ System received FDA clearance in April of
2009 and has since been run in over 100 live operations as part of
the Company’s product launch phase. As the system has been
increasingly tested and used by various healthcare facilities, it
has proven to offer a more effective and economical means for
safely disposing potentially infectious fluids in operating rooms.
