BioStorage Technologies to Sponsor and Present Educational Workshops at Annual Biorepositories Conference

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ —  BioStorage
Technologies Inc., a global leader in sample management, cold chain
logistics and biomaterial storage for the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industries, will be a lead sponsor and presenter at
the 3rd annual Biorepositories Conference, September 27-29, 2010,
in Boston.

Managed by the Institute for International Research (IIR),
Biorepositories is an annual conference that brings together the
industry’s top executives, research professionals and experts, to
discuss best practices for maintaining sample integrity and
optimizing sample inventories. This year’s conference will also
emphasize the growing interest in personalized medicine and other
emerging trends in the biobanking industry, such as biomarker
development, translational research and biomedical engineering.

Lori A. Ball, chief operating officer at BioStorage
Technologies, is a distinguished member of the conference’s
advisory board and will team with Cathy Michael, global head of
sample management at BioStorage Technologies, for a presentation on
achieving maximum efficiency in biorepository operations. The
seminar will focus on applying innovative processes within
biorepository operations to create value-added benefits to
customers.
