Cadence (Staunton, Virginia) announced today that it is expanding its Product Realization Center in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
The company expects to finish the 21,000-square-foot expansion by March 2022. The expanded manufacturing footprint will include an additional Class 7 (10,000) cleanroom by the end of 2022.
“Everything lined up so well for this expansion to take place, and we are thrilled to be able to grow and support our customers’ requirements,” Mark Carper, director of operations at Cadence’s Pennsylvania facility, said in a news release. “The growing team in Pennsylvania is very excited about the opportunity to expand our facility.”
Cadence opened its dedicated finished device facility in Pennsylvania in 2013. The facility provides certified cleanroom manufacturing, final assembly, final packaging and labeling, sterilization management, and supply chain management of finished medical devices.
Cadence now offers certified cleanroom manufacturing at two of its facilities as a fully vertically integrated medical device contract manufacturer.
