Calgary Scientific, a company known for creating innovative technology for the medical industry and beyond, announced that ResolutionMD medical imaging software is registered by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Taiwan for diagnosis using both web and mobile devices. With the registration, ResolutionMD can now be used for web and mobile diagnosis across all major population centers in Asia.
Healthcare in Taiwan is managed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare whose goal is to provide a family and community centered total care system. The ResolutionMD certification from the Ministry enables medical practitioners in Taiwan to provide a higher standard of care by gaining quick, secure mobile access to diagnostic images through the web, iOS or Android devices.
Previously, ResolutionMD was the first to receive certification from the China Food and Drug Administration, certified class II from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency in Japan, certified by the Medical Device Control Office within the Department of Health in Hong Kong, first to receive certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in South Korea and registered with the Health Sciences Authority in Singapore.
