BOSTON, Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Carrot Medical, a leading
manufacturer of integrated medical imaging display and
communication systems, has announced results for Q2 2011. During
the year, Carrot Medical achieved significant growth in sales and
an expansion of sales channels.
Concluding the first half of 2011 with record second quarter
sales, Carrot surpassed its revenue mark for the full year in FY
2010. The company is now well positioned for the third
straight year of triple digit growth. Since inception, Carrot
has received orders for more than 50 of its C-View
systems, a premium class medical imaging and data integration
solution.
Craig Dickinson, Carrot Medical’s VP of sales points out, “In a
forward perspective, contrasting our earliest installations in
Electrophysiology labs, the utilization of Carrot’s technology is
expected to expand into traditional Catheterization, Interventional
and Neuroradiology labs, as well as Hybrid OR suites. This
broad adoption of the technology is further reason for continued
optimism in 2011 and beyond.”
“Hospitals are continuing to expand and modernize their
cardiovascular programs, adding new technology to the procedure
suite. Carrot Medical’s vision, since our inception in 2008,
has been to integrate this technology, creating a more efficient
clinical environment. We are continuing to take advantage of
the market demand we created when we launched our C-View system at
the RSNA in November 2008,” said Ward Sparacio, CEO of Carrot
Medical. “Our pipeline and opportunity portfolio has grown by more
than 40 percent in the past 6 months alone.”
Sparacio also points to Carrot Medical’s continued focus on
measuring customer satisfaction, using a Net Promoter Scoring
methodology. A Net Promoter Score measures how likely it is a
customer would recommend a company to a friend or colleague.
