The medical device CDMO said the expansion would increase the site’s operational capacity by nearly 50%.
“This expansion marks a major step forward in expanding our manufacturing operations to meet our growing customer demand,” Arterex North America President Bill Gerard said in a news release. “It strengthens our role in the global supply chain and improves our ability to respond to evolving customer expectations.”

“Our goal is to increase output and productivity by streamlining inventory and manufacturing operations, improving packaging and shipment preparation, and expanding our service capabilities to support our planned growth,” Gerard said.
Arterex said it plans to relocate and grow its inventory management system and convert the former inventory space into additional manufacturing capacity. This renovation would open the area to the existing production floor, enabling a more efficient and integrated workflow. The new inventory space will feature advanced monitoring and security technology for oversight of inventory and prevent unauthorized access.
The CDMO will upgrade the facility for the installation of the steam sterilizer in addition to the expansion.
Arterex previously added a Hexagon coordinate measuring machine to enhance engineering and inspecting capabilities. The operational system will be transitioning to a dedicated location as internal renovations continue.
Arterex said the expansion allows it to support industry trends of greater automation and the ability to manufacture more complex device designs.
