Lohas Tech introducing BioRF artery radar
Chinese startup Lohas Tech introduced its BioRF artery radar, which it is touting as a mobile health solution for better checking on cardiovascular disease.
The BioRF artery radar is a sensor that detects radial artery pulse waves, providing a way to monitor pulse wave velocity and blood pressure.
Lohas says the device can track artery pulse without any pressure applied to the skin and can detect arterial stiffness. Body hair, skin tone and vascular hypoperfusion do not interfere with the device’s measurements, according to the company.
