UrgoTech is touting its UrgoNight sleep training system that trains the brain to produce brainwaves that are clinically associated with sleep.
The device, which is expected to be available in the second quarter of the year, gives people who have issues falling and staying asleep a drug-free way to naturally improve quality and duration of sleep.
UrgoNight features a wearable electroencephalogram headband and accompanying app to help people naturally learn to increase brainwaves that can impact sleep. It uses neurofeedback therapies with real-time displays of brain activity, audio and visual cues to teach people to identify and modify behavior.
