Clippard takes the wraps off 7 mm, 2-way, normally closed electronic valves

June 15, 2015 By MDO Editor

These new direct actuating valves offer extremely fast response time for accurate dosing of minute volumes with the same long life you expect from the original Clippard EV line of electronic vales, now in a 7-mm diameter cartridge package.

Due to low moving weights, the valves are extremely quiet and emit very low vibration. Because of the small size and low energy consumption, they are also ideal for transportable and mobile systems. These valves can be fully customized according to the customer requirements.

Under certain conditions, expect a lifetime of over 1 billion cycles. The 7-mm diameter valves also have extremely small dead volume and low vibration and noise.
