CMEF Celebrates its 60th Anniversary

Beijing, China ‚– To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the world‚’s second-largest medical equipment show, China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), the organizer Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions will be staging a series of gala events during the four-day trade show in Suzhou, China. Taking place from October 29 to November 1, CMEF occupies an exhibition area of more than 86,000 square meters. More than 50,000 visitors are expected to attend this momentous occasion.

In celebration of over 30 years of success, the 60th edition of CMEF boasts an exciting lineup of commemorative events. A celebratory performance themed ‚‘For Glory, Our Mission‚’ will be staged on the first day of the show. Additionally, the 6th Reed Sinopharm Golf Pro Tournament will be held during the show for golf enthusiasts to tee off and network on Suzhou‚’s picturesque courses. Regular attendees of the show have been asked to submit articles, photographs, video footage and artistic works that captured their most memorable moments at past editions of CMEF. These memorabilia will be displayed for public viewing in the show hall.

One of the highlights at this trade show is the CMEF Congress, a series of conferences and seminars on developments, challenges and opportunities present in China‚’s healthcare market. Topics include: ‚“Globalization and Standardization of In Vitro Diagnostics Industry in China,‚” ‚“Europe-China Medical Device Expert Roundtable,‚” ‚“Implementation of Revised European Medical Device Directive‚” and ‚“China Medical Device Investment Forum.‚” Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to learn and exchange information on market trends, technological innovations and regulatory systems.

This 60th edition of CMEF is a significant milestone for the Asia Pacific medical industry at large. Since the inception of CMEF in 1979, the event has been instrumental in shaping China‚’s modern medical and healthcare industries. CMEF brings together decision makers, government officials, international trade association representatives, R&D technicians, hospital procurement specialists, and distributors of medical equipment and devices to trade and network on a trusted global platform.
