Inc. (Nasdaq:
CDXS) today announced that Jacques Beaudry-Losique has joined
the company as Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy.
Mr. Beaudry-Losique joins Codexis from the U.S. Department of
Energy, and will be responsible for corporate strategic planning
for Codexis’ bioindustrials businesses and directing the company’s
government relations programs. He will report to Joseph Sarret,
M.D., Chief Business Officer.

depth of experience working with Fortune 500 corporations,” said

Mr. Beaudry-Losique has more than 20 years experience working in
the energy and technology sectors. Most recently, he held
senior policy and management positions at the Department of Energy
for six years, from 2005 to 2011. Previously, he worked with and
advised Fortune 500 companies while at McKinsey & Co. and in
strategic planning and management roles at General Electric and
Shell.
While at DoE, he led efforts to build a second generation
biofuels industry across two administrations, managed three major
energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and served for two
years as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Renewable
Energy. He was also instrumental in decisions to invest
more than $1.5 billion of Recovery Act funds in renewable energy
projects, including $800 million in biofuels projects – as
well as the project selection, tracking and management of many of
these programs.
