Comtron Introduces Medgen Electronic Health Records System

September 29, 2014 By AxoGen, Inc.

Comtron, a leading provider of healthcare systems, is optimizing medical documentation and reporting processes with its electronic health records system, Medgen EHR, by giving clinicians an easy-to-use interface.

Comtron believes customization is the key to successful workflow optimization, which led the company to develop an easily-customizable, cost-effective EHR that can be tailored to meet the specific workflow requirements of any medical practice.

During implementation and setup, Medgen EHR teaches clinicians how to design and manipulate the platform to fit their workflow needs.  Customization can easily be done on the fly so clinicians can adapt the EHR as their workflow requirements change. Medgen EHR can create a custom EHR system for any medical practice or sub-specialty with the best functionality and features to support and enhance workflow.

“We believe that all medical practices should have access to affordable healthcare technology and professional services to increase efficiency, decrease overhead and improve patient care,” said David Lalehzar, CEO, Comtron.  “Our proprietary, cost-effective health records system features an intuitive interface to maximize usability and provider satisfaction, ultimately optimizing workflow, enhancing productivity and increasing revenue.”

Comtron views a medical practice as a complex system, which requires a strong look at all the factors that impact the providers, clinical staff and most important, the patient. These environmental and internal factors, along with Comtron’s deep understanding of these factors, allows the company to be strategic business partners and patient advocates by streamlining processes and providing efficiencies.

Comtron’s Medgen EHR features:

  • Embedded Meaningful Use, PQRS and accountable care reporting
  • A mobile app with voice dictation powered by Nuance
  • An Intuitive interface to maximize EHR efficiency and user satisfaction
  • Modular setup for easy customization
  • Some of the lowest onboarding and monthly subscription costs in the industry
