Concordance Healthcare Solutions announced today that it has acquired Rockwell Medical Supply. The financial details of the acquisition were not immediately available.
The deal marks further expansion for Concordance, which is already one of the largest, independent healthcare distributors in the U.S. It has distribution centers across the country and serves two-third of the healthcare systems in America.
“The combination with Rockwell continues our focus on strategic additions to augment consistent organic growth while also complementing our core business in geographic areas targeted for expansion. I welcome the Rockwell team and look forward to strengthening our vision of becoming the most respected, innovative, national multi-market healthcare distribution company,” said CEO and co-president of Concordance Tom Harris.
“We are eager to work with the team at Concordance to continue redefining the medical supply industry through their leadership in distribution. Our customers always knew they could count on us. Now, joining Concordance, we can enhance our abilities and deliver service beyond our customers’ expectations,” said former VP of Rockwell and new VP of Concordance Mike Rockwell.
Rockwell Medical Supply was a family-owned medical supply distributor located in Southern California.
