Conventus Polymers launches Paryls PES in North America

Conventus Polymers has launched China’s UJU New Materials Paryls polyethersulfone (PES) in North America.

Conventus is an exclusive distributor of UJU New Materials and has already distributed the company’s polysulfone (PSU) and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) product lines.

“We welcome this new distribution arrangement, which expands our portfolio options for our customers,” said John Jorgensen, president of Conventus Polymers.

Sulfone polymers are beneficial to a number of markets including durable healthcare, electrical/electronics, automotive, membranes and food service. Conventus is offering three PES grades with F2150, F2250 and F2350 viscosities.

PES grades have high heat resistance with dimensional stability, creep resistance, chemical resistance and electrical properties.

UJU New Materials’s line of sulfone products meet all regulatory requirements in North America and have similar performance to comparable grades.
