NEWS RELEASE: David Schnur Associates Partners with ACI to Expand Customer Access to Sapphire Medical Lenses & More
David Schnur Associates (DSA), a global supplier of outsourced technical sales and marketing services for the medical device and life science industries, recently announced an exclusive, multi-year strategic agreement with Analytical Components International (ACI). ACI is a manufacturer of custom sapphire lenses for the industrial, medical and life science industries. Headquartered near Boston, ACI brings more than 50 years of experience in the hard materials industry.
The increased use of high-precision vision systems for endoscopy—particularly for robotic surgery—has driven demand for optical window materials such as synthetic sapphire, which allows for clear visualization of internal body structures and tissues during medical procedures. This strategic alliance will expand DSA customer access to sapphire windows for medical device applications, as well as PEEK fittings for life science applications such as HPLC.
