Abbott Diabetes Care issues a recall of its FreeStyle blood glucose test strips.
Abbott Diabetes Care (NYSE:ABT) said it issued a recall of its FreeStyle blood glucose test strips after reports of falsely low results.
The Alameda, Calif.-based medical device company found that the FreeStyle test strips used with Insulet‘s (NSDQ:PODD) OmniPod glucose management system and its own FreeStyle and FreeStyle Flash glucose meters were reporting “erroneously low blood glucose results,” according to a press release.
