Tear-away introducer sheaths and dilators with griplock hubs also have a zero clearance, a locking mechanism on the hub and an ergonomically designed handle for easy removal.
Valved tear-away introducer sheaths with dilators include tabs for more comfortable handling after device insertion, and the valve maintains a tight seal to help prevent air or fluid leakage. The Teflon sheath allows for a smoother peel.
