Eight-week-old Leighton Sanders is fighting for her life after undergoing a 12-hour surgical procedure to remove a three-pound tumor from her abdomen. Complications from the surgery and the subsequent removal of many of Leighton’s digestive organs suggest a long and difficult recovery.
