Dominion invited the State’s elected officials to celebrate
National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (NMLPW) sponsored by
the American Society for Clinical Pathology along with its staff of
almost 200 laboratory and administrative professionals.
Dominion’s management appreciates the opportunity to
demonstrate the Company’s important role within the health care
services industry and the Rhode Island community.
For healthcare providers today, the need for fast, accurate and
cost-effective drug monitoring solutions is a given. The challenge
lies in correctly interpreting laboratory test results — and
applying them in a way that enhances the delivery of patient care
and promotes the safe and effective use of medications.
“Dominion’s mission is to create comprehensive monitoring
programs that support the unique needs of our clients and to
promote successful patient outcomes,” said Mark A. McSally, Esq.,
Dominion’s Vice President of Operations. “It is an honor to
provide our State officials with a glimpse of how Dominion is
enhancing health care in our community and at large.”
NMLPW is an annual celebration of the medical laboratory
professionals and pathologists who play a vital role in every
aspect of health care. Laboratory professionals often work behind
the scenes, but the critical testing they perform every day saves
lives, reduces morbidity, and helps control health care costs.
Dominion Diagnostics is proud to support NMLPW and proud to honor
