eCardio Ranked as One of Houston’s Fastest Growing Companies

September 27, 2010 By Bio-Medicine.Org

HOUSTON, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ — Announced Friday, eCardio was
included on the Houston Business Journal’s Fast 100, which honors
100 of the fastest growing companies in the Houston area.
eCardio was ranked at No. four with a two-year growth of
305.23%.

“eCardio is privileged to be recognized locally for our
considerable growth,” stated Larry Lawson, President and Chief
Executive Officer of eCardio. “Our growth has enabled us to employ
close to 400 employees in the Houston area, a vast increase from
our original team when we started in 2004.  We are proud to be
contributors to the local economy over the past year in light of
the current economic challenges.”

Companies were honored at the Houston Fast 100 luncheon held at
the Westin Galleria Hotel on Friday, September 24. Over 700
Houstonians from the business community cheered on the 2010 Fast
100 award recipients at the luncheon where the rankings were first
made public. Companies making the list were ranked by percentage of
revenue growth over the past two years and were required to be in
business for a minimum of five years.

Since the inception of the company in 2004, eCardio has
experienced significant growth. Most recently, eCardio was included
on the Inc. 500’s list of fastest growing private companies for a
second year. eCardio was also recognized in the 2008 and 2009 Fast
Tech 50, and President Larry Lawson was awarded the Ernst &
Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2008 and 2009.
