Emerson is hosting a ‘Lunch and Learn’ event at this year’s MD&M Minneapolis to demonstrate the latest in Branson’s plastic welding technology. The event will take place on Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. in the 103DE area of the trade show.
Tom Hoover, Emerson’s business development segment manager, will begin the special event with an introduction and overview of the presentation. The presentation will include information about the company’s full range of Branson technology and products, including its ultrasonic and clean laser technology, and its support and service offerings for customers in the medical industry.
The company’s Branson GSX Ultrasonic plastic welding system will also be on display. The system is designed to address the medical industry’s demands for joining miniaturized parts with embedded electronics that need super-precise actuation force.
“The new Branson GSX System leverages major advances in actuation and control to help medical manufacturers achieve a process that’s superior in consistency and repeatability. Its advanced user interface offers selectable, tunable actuation force controls, ergonomically designed to enable set up and optimization of the GSX system in minutes, no hours or days,” said Tarick Walton, Emerson’s global product manager of Ultrasonics.
The Branson GSX System also allows for complete data output tracking that is typically needed for maximum manufacturing efficiency, unbroken product traceability and regulatory compliance.
Emerson will also be showcasing its technology ay booth 1523 at MD&M Minneapolis. Seating for the ‘Lunch and Learn’ is limited and must be reserved in advance through the MD&M Minneapolis event page.
