OIA Global, a leading logistics, packaging, and material sourcing provider, and EndoChoice, Inc., an innovative manufacturer of endoscopic imaging systems, devices, and infection control products have launched a new logistics program to simplify product packaging, reduce shipping costs, and build sustainability.
“This new partnership provides EndoChoice with a tremendous opportunity to better fulfill our core mission of serving the gastrointestinal caregiver,” says John T. Arant, Senior Director, Global Supply Chain at EndoChoice. “Because of our focus on the manufacturing and commercialization of technology for our life-saving medical equipment, our supply chain is a critical component of our value proposition,” he adds.
EndoChoice has over 2,500 customers in the United States, including hospitals and clinics that require short delivery windows. Through distribution partnerships, the platform company serves an additional 30 countries.

“While EndoChoice maintains its commitment to innovating the healthcare field, we are proud to be part of the infrastructure that is reengineering and optimizing the outbound packaging process, which has reduced transportation costs by over 20 percent,” says Heidi Bassano, Global Account Manager, Healthcare at OIA Global.
Arant also noted the success this program has had in reducing the carbon footprint at EndoChoice, as they have decreased the amount of dunnage and packaging materials needed to ship products while improving packaging integrity. “Sustainability is an important initiative for our company, and while we are pleased with the supply chain efficiencies achieved by OIA, we are also thrilled to see the impact it has had on helping us be better stewards of the environment,” says Arant.
