Designed by a surgeon and now under the Teleflex brand of products, the MiniLap® Percutaneous Surgical System with MiniGrip® Handle has evolved into an ergonomic, multifunctional surgical tool. The system comprises a slim 2.4 mm shaft diameter that can be percutaneously inserted directly through the skin using an integrated needle tip, eliminating the need for a trocar, and resulting in less trauma and minimal scarring for the patient. The grasper jaws can open to 12.5 mm, making it easy for surgeons to grasp and manipulate tissue while providing both ratcheted and non-ratcheted capabilities.
