Designed to simplify the tasks of vision system designers and engineers, MachVis 5.0 Vision Lens Selection Software provides an easy-to-use platform.

Qioptiq, an Excelitas Technologies company, will showcase its new imaging lenses and lens selection software at VISION in Stuttgart, Germany from Nov. 8 to 10, 2016.

Recent additions to the company’s portfolio on display at Qioptiq’s exhibit will include:

  • New Fetura+ Advanced Zoom Lens: The enhanced, high-end Fetura+ enables high speed and reliable optical performance for the machine vision and inspection markets. Ideal for high-throughput micro-inspection, non-contact dimensional measurement and general automated imaging applications, Fetura+ features a unique linear rail design coupled with precision optics to enable it to travel through the 12.5:1 zoom range in less than one second. Fetura+ offers a service life in excess of one million cycles and delivers exacting repeatability in any orientation. It is fully compatible to Optem FUSION Lens Systems, and it can be customized with added features or modified housing requirements.
  • New MachVis 5.0 Vision Lens Selection Software: Designed to simplify the tasks of vision system designers and engineers, MachVis 5.0 Vision Lens Selection Software provides an easy-to-use platform, which delivers faster and more comprehensive product data results for all LINOS Machine Vision and now Optem FUSION Micro-Imaging Lenses. MachVis software makes it easy to select the right lens for a wide variety of applications, including machine vision, microscopy, dimensional measurement, quality assurance, inspection, robotics and automated imaging. By specifying the basic parameters of your imaging task, the software recommends suitable lenses from the extensive Qioptiq portfolio of machine vision lenses, including all necessary accessories and instantly illustrates a schematic of complete system set-ups.
  • New mag.x system 125 1.73X Tube Lens: Optimized for 35 mm Camera Format Sensors: Representing a new class of optical systems that enable microscope-like resolution with wide fields-of-view to support modern high-resolution sensors, the new 1.73X Tube Lens makes the mag.x system 125 a perfect match for sensors with the 35 mm camera format. The fully-modular mag.x system 125 industrial microscope system was specially developed for use with large sensors—up to 57 mm diagonal—to enable submicron resolution over large object fields. It is ideally suited for submicron imaging in inspection and measurement applications, including micro-inspection, dimensional measurement, high-resolution inspection, semiconductor inspection, display inspection and fluorescence microscopy.
