Colder Products Company showcased its product line expansions for medical device OEMs at MD&M Minneapolis. The latest additions included MPC couplings with 1/8” hose barbs for small-bore connector applications, increased Hybrid Connector capabilities and the FitQuik connector line now available in medical-grade polycarbonate.
The expanded Colder MPC Series couplings now include hose barbs suitable for smaller flexible tubing with 1/8” (3.22 mm) ID. MPC couplings are designed for a wide range of applications, including wound drainage, blood salvage, unique IV therapies and enteral feeding. MPC Series connectors offer added security over luer fittings. The MPC product line, available in multiple materials, meets USP Class VI and ADCF requirements.
Colder’s Hybrid Connectors provide a compact, single connection point for power, air and fluid lines, simplifying the user interface and eliminating the need for multiple connections between remote tools and a device. Colder offers expanded capabilities for connecting fluid and power into an integrated connection.
Now available in medical-grade polycarbonate, Colder’s full line of FitQuik Connectors complements its broad quick disconnect couplings to provide the largest array of connector choices for medical device OEMs. The fittings feature precise hose barbs and thread forms to ensure a secure, reliable fit. Available in nylon, polypropylene, polycarbonate and soon PVDF, these fittings are designed for tubing sizes from 1/16″ to 3/8″.
