alerts about a number of products, including:

- birth control pills that may increase the risk of blood
clots - Avandia and other diabetes medicines that carry new
restrictions - dietary supplements packaged to look like antibiotics
- a recalled blood thinner
These and other alerts were prompted by reports FDA received

MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting Program.
