Fisher & Paykel Healthcare announced the introduction of an innovative new mask, the F&P Brevida.

F&P Brevida
The F&P Brevida is a nasal pillows mask designed for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). It features an AirPillow seal which inflates to form a “pillow” of air in and around the nose for a gentle, effective seal. It also incorporates VisiBlue highlights, which are subtle colour cues to help patients with mask orientation, use and assembly.

The Brevida has been developed after extensive patient centred research, and it is designed to be extremely comfortable to wear and easy to use, which gives patients confidence in their therapy. It is the latest in the successful F&P OSA mask range, which includes the full face (F&P Simplus) and nasal (F&P Eson) masks, which have been extremely well liked by customers.

The F&P Brevida system will initially be available in New Zealand and Australia in August, followed by Canada and Europe. It will be available in the U.S. on receipt of FDA clearance.
