Foundation Medicine Inc., a cancer diagnostics startup in Cambridge, has named former Enzo Clinical Labs president Kevin Krenitsky as chief operating officer of the company, where he will head the company’s internal operations and plans for commercialization. The news follows Foundation Medicine’s naming last month of Michael J. Pellini as president and CEO of the company.
Prior to Foundation Medicine, when he served as president of Enzo Clinical Labs, Krenitsky helped the company earn re-accreditation by the College of American Pathologists. Before Enzo, he was CEO of BioServe Biotechnologies, which focused on genetic diagnostic test processing; CEO of Parkway Clinical Laboratories, a diagnostic lab; and several roles at clinical and genomics research firm Genomics Collaborative Inc.
