GlobTek touts EAC-certified off-the-shelf power supplies for medical, other applications

January 18, 2018 By Editor

GlobTek is touting the wide variety of EAC-certified power supplies that it is offering for applications including medical, information technology equipment, household and more.

A full list is available on the Northvale, N.J.–based company’s website.

EAC certification, formerly known as the Russian GOST-R certification, implements a new logo (EAC mark)  – and involves the implementation of the new certification for the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

There are three basic technical regulations – effective Feb. 15, 2013 – associated with the EAC certification system:

  • TR 004/2011: Low Voltage Products Regulations (AC 50V-1000V and DC 75V-1500V)
  • TR 010/2011: Machinery products technical regulations
  • TR 020/2011: EMC technical regulations

The former GOST-R or TR certificate invalidated effective March 15, 2015, according to GlobTek.
