Greenlight Guru was recently recognized for its quality management software (QMS) capabilities in G2 Crowd’s Winter 2019 Grid Report for Quality Management. G2 Crowd also recognized Greenlight Guru in the categories of “most likely to recommend,” “meets requirements” and “quality of support.”
The G2 Crowd Grid rating system is calculated using user reviews, as well as vendor information that is publicly available through an algorithm. The reviewers who nominate companies are vetted through their LinkedIn account or employer email credentials to ensure an unbiased review process.
“We set out to make the lives of medical device users better by creating the best quality management software solution for the medical device industry,” David DeRam, co-founder and CEO of Greenlight Guru, said. “To be recognized as the sole leader amongst all quality management systems – not just in the medical device industry – is a tremendous honor and a clear indication that our users are seeing real value in our platform.”
Greenlight Guru announced last year that it was adding multi-level design controls that would allow medical device manufacturers to maintain compliance while developing software that was going to be used as medical devices. The company also added new integration with software development management tool Jira.
“We are beginning to see a paradigm shift in the medical device industry, paper-based and general purpose QMS tools are no longer to the task of managing modern medical devices,” Jon Speer, founder and VP of quality assurance and regulatory affairs at Greenlight Guru, said. “I foresee the regulatory environment changing in the very near future where a medical device specific QMS will no longer be a nice-to-have, but a need-to-have solution.”
