3B Medical said it has moved its corporate headquarters to a new location in Winter Haven, Fla. to accommodate new staff. The company previously had corporate and administrative staff at multiple locations in Winter Haven and Lake Wales, Fla.
The sleep apnea and respiratory therapy device manufacturer said it experienced triple-digit growth in 2018, spurring its decision to consolidate corporate functions into one location. The company also had several new product releases and an expansion of global sales into Canada, Australia and Europe this year.
“We selected Winter Haven as our corporate home because it is only 45 minutes outside of Orlando, easily accessible to both Tampa and Orlando, but still retains a slightly rural and small-town flavor, which our employees love”, said CEO Alex Lucio in a statement. “We are looking forward to another year of triple-digit growth in 2019.”
In a global licensing deal in March, 3B Medical acquired Minnesota R&D company VBOX and its patents for portable oxygen products. Production on a new portable oxygen concentrator will commence in February in Minneapolis.
